I asked my Kenyan friend Patrick if giraffes ever get eaten. And he told me that they do. He told me that lions will jump on their flanks and eventually go up and break their necks. I didn't quite understand everything he said, but despite his confident reply, I still can't fathom it happening. I'll have to see it to believe it.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. ... Well, they are very tall and awkward creatures. The right pull of weight would possibly topple them? And the right strength of jaw could bite them. It would certainly be interesting (sad though) to watch such a thing.
